Each item begins its journey from the artisan’s country of origin in Europe. Depending on the product, it may be made to order or shipped from recently crafted stock. Once ready, it is collected and sent to one of our regional hubs or warehouses across Europe. From there, the item is brought to London, where all items are consolidated and undergo a thorough quality check.

Your complete order is then dispatched from London via our trusted shipping partners.

Please note: all items in a single order are shipped together from London to ensure consistency and compliance with regulations.

Standard Shipping: Free on all orders. We use Royal Mail UK or a similar trusted service.

Premium Shipping: If you’d like faster delivery with services like FedEx or DHL, you can upgrade to premium shipping for a flat rate of ₹2,500 per order (charged in addition to your order cost).

We aim to deliver within 4–8 weeks of order placement. Made-to-order pieces may take slightly longer since they are crafted specially for you.

This timeline includes:

  • The artisan’s craftsmanship
  • International shipping to London
  • Quality checks, packaging, customs, and clearance
  • Final dispatch to your address

You’ll receive:

  • An order confirmation email once the artisan accepts your order.
  • A shipping confirmation with tracking details once your order is dispatched.

Because every item is handcrafted with care. We don’t believe in mass production. Our artisans create pieces either made to order or in very small batches. This makes your item truly unique and helps support sustainable, low-waste practices.

Shipping itself also involves multiple steps, all while ensuring fragile items are carefully handled and well-protected.

We take packaging very seriously. Each order is packed over 1–2 days with multiple layers of thick insulation to keep your handmade items safe during transit. While rare issues can happen when items travel long distances, rest assured we’ll support you if anything goes wrong.

No. All displayed prices on Värld include applicable taxes, duties, and standard shipping. Apart from the optional premium shipping fee, you won’t have to pay anything extra beyond the checkout amount.

No. At this time, we don’t offer in-store pick-up for online orders.

Unfortunately not. Once placed, separate orders cannot be combined for compliance reasons. Shipping charges (if any) apply per order.

International orders are not eligible for cancellations, returns, exchange/size exchange, refunds or credit note. However, if you face any issues such as receiving a damaged, defective, incorrect, or missing product, please write to us at care@nicobar.com within 48 hours of receiving the order, along with supporting product images. We will be happy to issue a credit note or refund in such cases.

International orders are not eligible for cancellations, returns, exchange/size exchange, refunds or credit note. Cash on Delivery is not available during our sale. We'll accept all online modes of payment. 

In cases like this, your money is completely safe. Due to technical issues, the amount is debited but does not go through at the payment gateway. When this happens, the amount is usually credited to the customer’s account within 24 hours. In the unlikely event that this payment goes through, we will either process your order or refund the full amount to the source of payment.
