Lucia Marzano

Lucia Marzano is a ceramicist based in Puglia, Italy—a region where clay runs as deep as tradition, and every home has shelves lined with hand-glazed treasures. Raised between olive groves and terracotta-tiled rooftops, Lucia was always drawn to texture, shape, and the simple beauty of the handmade. After studying ceramic design in Florence, she returned to her roots to open a sun-filled studio where she throws and hand-paints every piece.

Her work is a conversation between form and flora—especially the lush, untamed greenery of southern Italy. The Tropical Leaf Cup is one of her signature designs: playful yet refined, tactile and bold, meant for both function and joy. She often speaks of her work as “everyday art”—pieces that turn daily rituals into small celebrations.

Lucia’s ceramics invite a slower pace of living. Her pieces are for people who appreciate sunshine on their table, stories in their objects, and the timeless charm of things made by hand.
