Where do my products ship from?
Each item begins its journey from the artisan’s country of origin within Europe. Depending on the item, it is either made to order or shipped from their recently crafted stock.
Once ready, it is collected and sent to one of our regional hubs or warehouses across Europe. From there, the item is brought to London, where all items are consolidated and undergo a thorough quality check.Your complete order is then dispatched from London to India via our trusted shipping partners.
Please note that all items in a single order are shipped together from London to ensure consistency and compliance with regulatory requirements.
For international customers: your order follows the same consolidated route — it begins at the artisan’s studio in Europe, is brought to our London hub for consolidation and quality checks, then moves to India (as with our domestic orders) for compliance and documentation, and finally ships from India to your country via our trusted international logistics partners.
How much will shipping cost?
Värld offers free standard shipping on all orders. This means, as a customer, once you've selected and paid for an item(s), there are no additional charges for standard delivery. For our standard shipping, we use Royal Mail UK or a similar trusted service.
However, we also offer premium shipping where we use FedEx, DHL or similar service. If a customer chooses to go with premium shipping, it is chargeable at a flat rate of Rs. 2500 per order.
How long will it take to receive my order?
We aim to ship your order within 2–3 weeks of placement. For made-to-order items, it may take slightly longer as the piece is being specially crafted by the maker.
Delivery Timelines
- Domestic (India): Orders are typically delivered within 3–4 weeks from the date of dispatch.
- International: Orders are typically delivered within 4–5 weeks from the date of dispatch, depending on the destination country.
A large part of this timeline is dedicated to the artisan’s craftsmanship and the journey of your item from various locations across Europe. Once received, each product goes through careful packaging, detailed quality checks, and necessary customs and clearance procedures before it is dispatched for delivery.
You’ll receive an order confirmation email once the artisan has accepted your order and has begun crafting your piece. When your order ships, we’ll send a shipping confirmation email with tracking details so you can monitor its journey.
International routing note: international orders are consolidated in London and then processed in India (quality checks, documentation, and compliance) before the final leg to your country. This structured path reduces customs issues and damage in transit.
Why does it take time for my order to be ready?
All our items are thoughtfully handcrafted by artisans—either made to order or produced in small batches. This approach ensures that each piece is truly one of a kind—crafted just for you. It also supports sustainable practices and minimizes waste. We don’t believe in mass production; we believe in craftsmanship that values time, intention, and care.
Why does overall shipping take a little longer?
Your order travels thousands of miles—from artisan workshops across Europe and the UK, through our hubs and warehouses, before reaching you in India.
To ensure the safety and quality of your cherished purchase, we work with shipping partners experienced in handling delicate and fragile items. Along the way, each product undergoes careful packaging, thorough quality checks, and necessary customs and clearance procedures.
This thoughtful and thorough process has significantly reduced the chances of damage during transit, leading to fewer issues and happier customers.
A few things to note:
- Our shipping partners do not ship on weekends or public holidays.
- Delivery timelines may vary depending on your location and are subject to factors like address accuracy, customs clearance, and other unforeseen delays.
- While we work with highly reliable shipping partners, delays can occur due to factors beyond our control such as customs processes, weather, or high shipping volumes. We're not responsible for shipping delays.
For international customers, there’s one additional step: after London consolidation, your order is routed to India for compliance and documentation, and only then dispatched to your country. This is by design to ensure consistency, safer handling, and smoother customs.

How does your packaging protect my order?
We take packaging seriously. Each order is packed over 1–2 days using multiple layers of thick insulation to ensure your handmade items are well-protected during transit. While we do our best to safeguard your order, please note that unexpected situations can sometimes occur when items travel long distances. Rest assured, we’re here to help if anything goes amiss.
Do we pay any duties and taxes?
No. Besides shipping, all prices displayed on Värld are also inclusive of applicable taxes and duties. You won’t have to pay anything extra beyond the final amount shown and paid at checkout.
Do you offer in-store pick-up for online orders?
No
If I have placed two separate orders, can you combine the orders and offer me a shipping-related discount?
Unfortunately, we’re unable to combine separate orders once they’ve been placed, due to regulatory and compliance reasons. Any applicable shipping charges will apply to each individual order, unless standard shipping is offered for free.
How can I help ensure smooth delivery of my order?
To help us ensure a smooth and timely delivery, please provide a valid mobile number where you can be reached, along with your complete shipping address, including the correct pin code and landmark (if any), at the time of placing your order.
