There is a funny story behind this vase.
My kitten chewed the unfired clay so I decided to carve texture on the entire surface -- a joint creative collaboration between Maia the potter and Cleo the naughty.
Handmade, textured black porcelain vase with unglazed exterior surface and an impermeable glaze inside for extra water retention. In theory porcelain is already water tight because of the vitrified high-firing, but just to be certain, I glaze the inside.
Handmade on the wheel.
